For ‘Rola Adegboye, design isn’t just what she does, it’s who she is. As the founder and principal designer of R-ADE Designs Prints Handcrafts Ltd., she has spent over a decade blending artistry with intention, creativity with structure, and inspiration with execution. With a strong foundation in IT, holding a BSc. (Hons) in Computer Technology and an MSc. (Distinction) in Internet and Multimedia Engineering from London South Bank University, Rola’s journey began in tech. But her love for textures, colours, and thoughtful details quietly paved the way for something different, something deeply personal. Her creative spark ignited with textile embellishment, adorning fabrics with beads, sequins, and stones. But it wasn’t until she designed her own wedding invitations with her husband, a fellow designer, that everything truly clicked. What started as a search for elegant, high-quality stationery turned into a full-blown production of handcrafted beauty. The rave reviews that followed lit the match that became Colour Cascade, a small studio that has now evolved into the powerhouse known as R-ADE Designs. Today, R-ADE Designs serves both social and corporate clients with distinctive, detail-rich solutions, including invitation suites, brand identity, motion design, packaging, and everything in between. Ten years in, the heart of the work remains the same: create with excellence, lead with love, and let the craft speak for itself. When she’s not designing or leading the creative direction of her team, Rola is probably buried in her journal, grooving to worship music, or taking another course to sharpen her skills, yes, even after all these years. A creative generalist through and through, she wears many hats, but wears them all with grace. From London to Lagos and beyond, her work and her story are proof that when creativity meets conviction, the results are nothing short of divine.
